As an archangel, I have the power vested in me to make this happen. It basically is taking a privileged soul from heaven and allowing them to visit whomever they choose on Earth. However, like having a curfew, they are only permitted to be on Earth for an allotted amount of time.

So technically, it’s not bringing the dead back to life. He would assume a solid form during that period of time and look exactly as he did when he was amongst the living.
